The Colombia–Philippines refers to the diplomatic relations between Colombia and the Philippines. Both countries share a Hispanic heritage when they both conquered and colonize by the Spanish Empire in the 16th century. The two countries has been warm and friendly since it formal establishment of ties on 1946.[1]
Bilateral relation[edit]
In 2015, President Benigno Aquino III extends the help to Colombian counterpart Juan Manuel Santos in fighting the illegal drug trade in both country. The Philippines also support Colombia in admission to APEC.[2]
Economic relations[edit]
The Philippines' total exports to Colombia totaled $21.6 million, while Colombia's exports to the Philippines was at $10.7 million.[3]
