Colonial Aeon
Colonial Aeon is an economic strategy game by Abram Jones that is in planning stages.[1] The game will focus on the colonization of the Americas, but will take place all over the world. The game begins at the time Christopher Columbus first sought investment for his journeys and ends right before the use of commercial steam railroad transport. Development will begin in the 2nd half of 2022.

Background[edit]
The game designer was a fan of Sid Meier's Colonization as a child, but was always unfulfilled with it's lack of financial features, static economy, and other limitations. This game seeks to eliminate those issues with the addition of joint-stock companies controlled by players, multiple currencies, completely dynamic trade markets, the inclusion of slavery, and the ability to play as any nation of the era, both European and non-European.
