Corde Londin (born November 20, 1992) is a Danish-South African singer-songwriter and producer. Born to a Danish family from Jutland, Denmark and raised in South Africa.[1]
Early Life[edit]
Londin's upbringing was characterized by a diverse set of cultural experiences. Born to a Danish family from Jutland, Denmark, Londin spent his early years in the small German town of Stutterheim, Eastern Cape. Later on, he moved to the bustling English town of East London, Eastern Cape, where he attended two schools before moving again to Cape Town, Western Cape, where he completed his education.
Having a deep passion for music, Londin applied to several prestigious music institutes to pursue his dream. However, he faced disappointment after failing to get accepted into any of them. Determined not to let this setback hinder his passion, Londin decided to seek help from private institutions for vocal training.
After a year of vocal training, Londin received a brand-new laptop from his father as a graduation present. Londin seized the opportunity and spent about a year experimenting with music production, discovering his love for creating his own music. He created and produced all of his own songs and lyrics, forging a distinct musical style that would soon be known by listeners all over the world.[2]
On September 16, 2019, Londin surprised his fans by announcing that he had relocated 10,000 miles away in pursuit of better opportunities. The singer has kept his new location a mystery, leaving fans to speculate about where he could be. However, despite his physical absence from the music scene, Londin has continued to model, using his platform to showcase his fashion sense and inspiring his fans to pursue their dreams with determination.
Despite a three-year hiatus from releasing new music or giving any updates, fans remain hopeful that Londin will soon share his creative talents with the world once again. With his unique voice and musical abilities, there is no doubt that he will continue to make an impact in the music industry for years to come.
Career[edit]
Londin has sent out demos of his recordings to various record labels but has not received any attention from them. Despite this setback, he remains determined to perfect his songwriting craft and has continued to record many songs over time. However, he has not released any of these songs to the public. Londin's decision not to release his recorded songs could be due to a variety of reasons, such as wanting to refine his sound further, waiting for the right opportunity, or simply being apprehensive about sharing his work publicly. In any case, this approach to songwriting is not uncommon, as many artists may record a significant amount of material before selecting the best songs for release.
2015-2018: Writing, Do U and Hit The Road[edit]
Londin has been working diligently at his craft of songwriting and has since released two tracks, "Do U" a worldwide release, and "Hit The Road" a SoundCloud release. "Do U" has received airplay from small radio stations, such as Gay Radio South Africa which was the first to feature the track. Soon after, it was played by other stations. "Hit The Road" received airplay from the Dutch international internet radio station, Hosa Radio[2], and even charted in its Top 30 and Top 150. Furthermore, the song was nominated for "Attention Grabber" in 2017. "Do U" was also nominated for "Global Rockstar 2015," charting at #25 of the Top 50.[2]
2019-2023: Hiatus, Music, and Possible Releases[edit]
Londin took a brief hiatus from music to explore other aspects of his life. According to sources, he had been traveling and had decided to pursue a degree in Thailand. This period of exploration allowed Londin to gain new experiences, broaden his horizons, and recharge his creative energy. Despite his hiatus from music, Londin never lost his passion for songwriting and producing. After settling into his new surroundings and getting back into a routine, he began producing music once again. It is believed that he is currently working on a new song that he plans to release later this year. The time away from music has allowed Londin to reflect on his career and explore new musical avenues. He may have gained new perspectives, new influences, and new ideas for his music during his travels and studies. These experiences may shape his future music and contribute to his growth as an artist.[3]

He has worked in a variety of genres, including pop, pop-rock, teen-pop, and dance-pop. In 2015, Londin released "Do U," which showcases a fusion of pop-rock, teen-pop, and dance-pop sounds. Meanwhile, "Hit The Road" released in 2018, features a dance-pop sound with a heavy synth chorus. These tracks demonstrate Londin's ability to create music that resonates with audiences across different genres and styles.[1]
Londin cites pop music as his primary musical influence. Despite growing up listening to country, oldies, and 90s pop, he has developed a unique sound that blends elements of different genres to create his signature style. His approach to songwriting involves experimenting with different sounds and styles to create music that feels fresh and exciting.[1]
