Corey Parchman (born February 23, 1979) is a retired American Football Wide Receiver who now owns several businesses in the greater Indianapolis and Miami Florida area.

Corey Parchman spent time in the NFL with several teams including the Jacksonville Jaguars,[1] Indianapolis Colts,[2] St. Louis Rams,[3] Oakland Raiders,[4] and the Green Bay Packers,[5] Corey Parchman also spent time in NFL Europe with the Amsterdam Admirals[6] and with the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League[7]

Early years[edit]

Corey Parchman attended Emmerich Manual High School in Indianapolis. He earned Second Team All- City honors as a junior. As a senior Parchman earned first team All-City, All-Metro, All-Conference and was the starting quarterback for the south in the annual Indiana North-South All Star Football Game. Also as a senior in Track and Field Parchman was City Champion, Conference Champion, Regional Champion, and Sectional Champion in the 100 meter dash.

College and NFL Career[edit]

While at Ball State Corey Parchman set many records as a wide receiver. Parchman holds the Ball State and NCAA record for longest kickoff return 106 yards. Corey Parchman was also once featured on The David Letterman Show for his 106 yard kickoff return.

In 2002 Corey Parchman signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He went on to sign free agent contracts with the Indianapolis Colts, St. Louis Rams, Oakland Raiders and the Green Bay Packers. Corey Parchman suffered a career ending shoulder injury which forced him to retire.

Personal life[edit]

Corey Parchman has a Bachelors Degree in Education and now resides in Miami Florida. Parchman is co owner and co founder of Parchman Development LLC, Clear Vision Media LLC, and CorePar Enterprise. Parchman has also served as a Parent Liaison for Indianapolis Public Schools
