Corporate Armor is an American IT consultant and B2B technology reseller, based in Charlotte, NC. The company sells data storage, information security, virtualization, analytics, cloud computing and other products and services that enable businesses to store, manage, protect, and analyze data. In April 2016 it was sold to an undisclosed company.

Corporate Armor was founded in 2011 by Thomas Schiffers and James Stikeleather who previously owned SanDirect,[1] an enterprise data storage solutions.[2] SanDirect was sold in 2009 and Schiffers, launched a business-to-business resource for IT professionals to provide network security solutions and data storage. The company started offering business-to-business sales to SMB and Enterprise organizations in the IT security and networking areas of Data Security, Network Security, Unified Threat Management, Next Generation Firewall, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Wireless Security, Wireless Access Points, SAN and NAS Storage, and Cloud Security from top manufacturers including Fortinet, Sophos, Cisco, Dell SonicWall Meraki, Check Point, and EMC. It also provides allied services including information, consultation, comparative data to the organizations. It serves primarily US and Canadian market with a client base in Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.[3]

Aquisition of Corporate Armor[edit]

In April 2016 it was announced that Corporate Armor had been sold to an unknown buyer.[4]
