Crenshaw Communications[1] is an independent public relations and social media agency in New York, NY, specializing in consumer product PR, digital brands, and reputation management. Key vertical sectors include consumer technology, consumer healthcare, and retail. In 2011 the company established a business book publishing and promotion practice.

Crenshaw Communications was founded by Dorothy Crenshaw, who previously held senior positions at Edelman Worldwide and GCI Group, Grey Advertising’s PR unit.[1] In 1996 she co-founded Stanton Crenshaw Communications, which grew into a well-recognized[weasel words] midsize firm handling clients such as Sharp Electronics, Bain Capital, Office Depot, and Starbucks. Crenshaw sold her interests[2] and left her former firm to launch Crenshaw Communications in early 2009.

Crenshaw Communications has represented a number of national and regional brands in technology, retail, travel and healthcare, including Sharp Electronics, Verizon Wireless, Sleepy's,[3] Quiznos, Mondial Assistance, 20x200, and SHOP.com.
