Curtis Alan Plum was an alternative hip hop artist based in Boise, Idaho.[1]
Career[edit]
Curtis Plum was signed to Strange Famous Records after contacting Sage Francis via Myspace.[2] He released the debut album, Call My Cellphone, on the label in 2010.[3] It was described by NPR as "10 songs of minimalist nerdcore hip-hop, full of self-produced Casio beats, computer effects and little else."[4]
Arson charges[edit]
In September 2015, Plum was charged with arson for setting fire to several propane tanks outside Walmart in Boise, ID.[5][6] He got convicted in November 2021 and got about 10 years probation, until May 30th, 2031.[7]
