CyberConnect is a decentralised social graph protocol that enables developers to create dApps upon a decentralised social graph, which breaks users free from traditional web2 centralised agents. Users can switch between web3 dApps with one universal gateway entrance, in which their previously generated connections will be portable and self-sovereign across dApps.[1].

    History

    CyberConnect was co-founded in Q3 2021 by Wilson Wei.[2], Ryan Li[3], Shiyu Zhang[4] and Zhimao Liu[5]

The company has recently completed its Series A funding worth $15 million USD[6], co-led by Hong Kong-based venture capital Animoca Brands and Sky9 Capital.

Launched in May 2022[7], Link3.to is the all-in-one link solution for trusted crypto projects built on CyberConnect.

    Overview

CyberConnect is designed to tackle three common problems in the web2 world: to eliminate redundancy, enable fast bootstrapping, and unleash users' autonomy. The protocol frees users from typical web2 "walled gardens" that retain users with high switching costs by enabling flexibility to aggregate their identities and data across different blockchain networks. As of July 2022, two of the most popular networks, Ethereum and Solana are supported. The protocol also integrates data into a single social graph, thus enabling efficient bootstrapping for developers to implement innovations and diverse social utilities in the CyberConnect ecosystem. The protocol also returns users the right to their social data, by giving them autonomy over how, where, and for what purpose their social data is used[8]
