Cypress Creek is an edge city and business center, located in the Miami Metropolitan Area that covers parts of Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, North Andrews Gardens, and Oakland Park.

Businesses[edit]

The Corporate Park at Cypress Creek and Financial Area Cypress Creek are the main business areas,[1][2] along with a strip mall,[3] area.

The area is home to of one of two corporate headquarters of Citrix Systems,[4], the headquarters of Zimmerman Advertising[5][6] and Aaxon Laundry [7] is also headquartered in Cypress Creek. There is a Jaguar dealership, a Westin hotel, a Sheraton hotel, and a TD Bank. Many medical centers are located in the area.[8][9]

Geography[edit]

The locality is near to the Fort Lauderdale neighborhood Imperial Point. It is mainly located between 4 localities, Oakland Park, Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach , and North Andrews Gardens.

Road[edit]

These are the main roads serving the area

  • I-95 (Alan Garcia Freeway) is the major and only Freeway in Cypress Creek. It has 2 exits with Commercial Boulevard (SR 870) and Cypress Creek Road (SR 840), and 1 incomplete exit, Andrews Avenue (SR 811A).
  • SR 840 (Cypress Creek Road) is the major thoroughfare and main street where the major businesses are located. It also has an exit with I-95.
  • SR 811A (Andrew Avenue) is another major road with corporate offices, The Cypress Financial Center, and an incomplete exit with I-95
  • SR 845 (Powerline Road) is a major north-south road, with the Citrix Headquarters being located at the SR 845-SR 840 intersection.
  • SR 870 (Commercial Boulevard) is a east-west road in the southern part of the community. It has an interchange with I-95.
  • SR 846 (Lyons Road) forms the western boundary of the community.
  • SR 811 (Dixie Highway) forms the eastern boundary. It is part of the wider Dixie Highway

Rail[edit]

There is a Tri-Rail station, Cypress Creek station. The strip mall at the SR 811A-SR 840 intersection shares a name with the Tri-Rail Station.[10]
