Gadossey Kwame Victory, (born February 15, 1997)[1] [2] is a Ghanaian-born producer and afrobeat musician. He is known by his stage name Dawn ODG, His best known song is "Tha Carter Vine[3], Blessings[4] and Nkate Cake [5]", which led him to become the first Ghanaian to be on Google’s new project "Post On Google" .[6]

Music career

He began to develop his music career at 19 years of age after supporting the performance of Dadie Opanka at a music event held in the suburb of Kumasi at KNUST Poolside in the latter part of 2012. He later set up his own music recording studio in early 2014 with fellow Ghanaian artists Ypee, Lino Beezy, and music producer SickBeatz. He released several tracks which pushed him up the ladder. Later in 2016 he was named as the Best Afrobeat Musician on Focus Fm freestyle Friday competition organised by one Dj Quest. Dawn ODG (as P -Twist ) won several High School Awards back in 2012 when his passion for music grew much bigger in his high school days at the Osei Kyeretwie Secondary School.[7]

Dawn ODG conveys his music through a very unique style to his fans and followers. In 2017 Dawn ODG showed up in a blonde hairstyle[8] which he later revealed he was encouraged by colleague Nigerian Musician Wizkid[9]
