DC Latino Caucus
The DC Latino Caucus is an American political organization composed of Latinos in Washington D.C. It is composed of Latinos who are members of the Democratic Party. The caucus is an affiliate of the District of Columbia Democratic State Committee. Its goal is to campaign for candidates in Washington D.C. who benefit the Latino community.[1]
Activity[edit]
The D.C. Latino Caucus was founded in 2005 and is affiliated with the District of Columbia Democratic State Committee. The caucus is the main political organization for Latinos in Washington, D.C..
The caucus maintains a [[political action committee branch which had over 400 members as of 2015. The PAC endorsed and helps elect Democrats.[2]
In November 2016, the caucus held a nonpartisan voter education rally in Lamont Park prior to the 2016 United States elections.[3]
In the 2020 District of Columbia Democratic presidential primary, caucus endorsed Joe Biden.[4]
