Adrian Emmanuel Neizer Aboagye professionally known as DJ Neizer is an award-winning Ghanaian DJ. He was awarded the Ghana DJ Awards’ Best Campus DJ in May 2017 for his growing popularity and fandom at various university campuses across the country.

Early life and education[edit]

He was born 24 September, 1993 in Kumasi of the Ashanti Region of Ghana. At the age of 8, his interest in mixing as a DJ grew by observing his uncle, Frankie Taylor, a successful DJ and presenter at FOX FM[2] in Kumasi. As he grew older, he went to his uncle’s studio often and by the age of 10 began performing at school functions.

DJ Neizer attended Adisadel College for his high school education. He graduated with a BSc. in Physics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. While in university, DJ Neizer served as the Deputy Entertainment Chairman of the Student Representative Council. In this role, DJ Neizer often performed at many major events and opened for artists such as Sarkodie, EL, and Ko-Jo Cue. In addition, he was a producer for the student organization and created large-scaled programs which gained him popularity on campus. After graduating KNUST, DJ Neizer became the resident DJ of Ace Tantra, a prominent nightclub in Accra. In the later years of his university days, he started performing outside campus and perfected his craft at concerts and raves throughout the country.
