Ryan Gullatt (born October 13, 1981 in Cleveland, Ohio, U.S.), professionally known as DJ Ryan Wolf, is an American hip hop DJ and mixtape producer.[1] He shot to prominence after he was named the official DJ for the Cleveland Browns.[2] With nearly 40 mixtapes over the course of his music career, he has worked with notable acts including DJ Scream, Machine Gun Kelly and OG Ron C among others.[3] He is a member of The Chopstars, a coalition of American DJs and turntablists who perform chopped and screwed remixes of popular songs, and also a DJ and radio personality on Z107.9.[4]

Early life and career

Born on October 13, 1981 in Cleveland, Ohio, U.S., DJ Ryan Wolf started DJing at the later age of 29, after being laid off from various jobs he was looking for. While he was searching for jobs, he would also spend some time at his friends house who had some turntables. His obsession with how DJs scratched motivated him to learn the skills of DJing and also try to learn how to chop and screw records because he used to listen to OG Ron C's mixtapes when he was younger.[5]

In 2010, he got his first break when he started DJing for his longtime friend Ray Jr who at the time released a song titled "Sloppy". He later made on-air appearances on Sirius/XM Shade 45's Sway N The Morning and Hip-Hop Nation's Ear Candy with Renada Romain.[5] In 2012, he became a radio DJ for WENZ 107.9 Radio One Cleveland before he went on to become the official DJ of the Cleveland Browns. In 2015, he released his first official single titled "Drippin" featuring rap vocals from Preme Dibiasi and in January 2017, he enlisted the services of Ray Jr and OG Ron C to release "Don't Play". The music video of the song was premiered on Youtube on January 14, 2017.[6]
