Dame Munni Irone is an Indian-American entrepreneur, philanthropist, author, celebrity coach, and cosmetologist.[1][2][3] She is the founder of the Art 4 Peace Awards, World Wide Youth Congress, and Rosemead Beauty School.[4][5][6]

Career[edit]

Irone started her career in the real estate business at a young age. She worked in that field for several years and later owned Rosemead School in Rosemead, California. The school provides its students with an education in cosmetology, manicuring, and skin care.[7]

In 2005, she founded Art 4 Peace Awards, a 503c non-profit organization that raises funds by selling art to help underprivileged people.[8][9] The organization has organized several charity events where Irone serves as the president.[9]

Irone contributed to the implementation of three laws in California that gave Vietnamese, Chinese, and Koreans new work opportunities.[10]

In 2016, Irone became the honorary minister of foreign affairs of the Indian government at the House of Lords.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Irone founded Worldwide Youth Congress to employ those who lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 outbreak.[9][11]

In 2022, she published her first self-help book, Get Balanced about personal empowerment, self-discovery, and self-enlightenment.[12]

Honors[edit]

Hebron Eco University in Colombo has named one of its campuses under Irone. The Academy of Universal Global Peace has given her an honorary Ph.D. and made her their peace governor.[1]
