Dandy was born and raised in a Seventh-Day Adventist family from Isiala-Ngwa South, Abia State, Nigeria. He is the only child. He began writing at the age of 13. He finished secondary school at the age of 16. To assist his family and support himself through school, he became a web developer and a freelancer.[5]
