Daniel Estrem is an American guitarist, ukulelist and mandolist. He is one of the few artists other than John King to have an all-classical ukulele album. He also has two classical solo mandola albums[1]

Biography[edit]

Estrem was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and grew up in Fergus Falls, MN. He began playing piano at age 5 and classical guitar at age 11. He studied guitar with Dr. James F. Condell in Moorhead, MN and Jeffrey Van in St. Paul, MN. Dr. Estrem is a past music faculty member of Macalester College, Augsburg College and Hamline University in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. His musical spectrum ranges from classical, jazz and popular music.[2][3] He has released over 20 albums on the internet record label Magnatune.
