Daniel Gilder (Hebrew: דניאל גילדר, born 1945 in Cleveland, America), stage name Danny Gilder is a cantor, pianist and teacher of Jewish-American cantorialism.[1]
Biography[edit]
Gilder was born in Cleveland. He studied at a music school in Cleveland, and also specialized in piano, musical theory and voice development.
Career[edit]
Participated in the project seven historical missions to Eastern and Central Europe under the auspices of "Agudat Chaim and Gila Weiner" to promote the field of cantorial work. Gilder served as an accompanist to leading cantors all over the world, such as David Koussevitzky, Moshe Gantshoff, Moshe Stern, Benzion Miller, Yitzhak Meir Helfgott and Benjamin Miller[disambiguation needed].
Among his students for the development of voice and music are: Yaakov Lemmer, Moshe Schulof and Shmuel Shapiro.
