Daniel Levine is the Director of Avant-Guide Institute, a consulting firm headquartered in New York. He is also the Founder of WikiTrends, a trend watching hub and has authored 20 guide books including Frommer's, a travel guidebook series.[1] He speaks on consumer trends in travel, hospitality[2], retail, lifestyle, technology and business.

Early life and career[edit]

Daniel Levine was born and resides in New York, United States.[3] He has a degree in History from New York University.[4] When he was in college, he started writing for Frommer's and has contributed to 10 of their books till date. Basis the knowledge gained over the years, he started Avant-Guide Institute in 2001.[5]

As a speaker, he has addressed travel events such as UNWTO, International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM), Ensemble Travel Group Conference and Caribbean Tourism Organization State of the Industry Conference.[6] He works as a Consultant for companies such as American Express, Intel, HBO, NBC and BMW among others.[7]
