Darussalam Islamic Academy (Arabic: مجمع دار السلام الاسلامي, Malayalam: ദാറുസ്സലാം ഇസ്ലാമിക്ക് അക്കാദമി) religious institution with material subject comprised syllabus, is affiliated to Darul Huda Islamic University and locates at Thalessery, Kannur, Kerala. The institution is run under the leadership of Madrassthul Darul Salam Yatheem Khana and provides the Islamic studies based on syllabus offered byDarul Huda Islamic University.[1][citation needed]

Madrassthul Darul Salam Yatheem Khana committee chaired by Advocate Zainuddeen, member of Waqf Board of government of Kerala, monitors the day-to-day affairs of the institution.[2]

Darul Salam Islamic Academy, established in September 10, 2012, was housed in primase, which functioned as an orphanage in early period. The committee under Advocate Zainuddeen, attracted by the progressive service done by Darul Huda Islamic University, decided to set up an institution for Kerala Muslims.[citation needed]
