Dato' Onn Tower (Malay: Menara Dato' Onn) is a 40-storey, 175 m (574 ft) tall commercial skyscraper located in the Chow Kit district of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Between 1985 and 1986, the building was the tallest skyscraper in Malaysia, surpassing the Kompleks Dayabumi. Part of the Putra World Trade Center (PWTC), it is considered to be a historic political landmark in Kuala Lumpur, as it houses the present headquarters of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), the largest political party in Malaysia.[1]
The building was named after Dato' Onn Jaafar, the former Menteri Besar of Johor, and the founder of UMNO.
