The Malacca Golf Gallery (Malay: Galeri Golf Melaka) is a gallery about golf in Malacca City, Malacca, Malaysia.[2][3][4]
History[edit]
The gallery building was originally built as a fire station in 1973. Afterwards, the building was used as the Civil Defense Department until 2000 when it was taken over by Malacca Chief Minister's Office. It was converted into the golf gallery in 15 April 2012. The gallery was officiated on 11 November 2012 by Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Malacca Mohd Khalil Yaakob accompanied by Chairman of State Tourism, Culture and Heritage Committee and other government officials.[3][5]
Architecture[edit]
The gallery is housed in a 2-story building with a floor area of 26.78 m2 on the lower floor and 154.47 m2 on the upper floor.
Exhibition[edit]
The gallery showcases the graphic, artifacts, equipment and other material stuffs about golf, from its history, background, development of golf in Malaysia, numbered around 186.[6]
