David Paul Black (born June 26, 1961) has served as Mayor of Papillion, Nebraska, United States, since 2009.
City of Papillion[edit]
Black was first elected to represent Ward 3 on the Papillion City Council in 2006 by about a 20% margin.[1] He also ran for the seat in 2002 finishing in 3rd in the primary.[1] He was elected to serve as City Council President in 2009. On July 7, 2009 he was appointed to serve as Mayor following Mayor James Blinn's resignation.[2] Black was then elected to serve his first full term as mayor in 2010 with 86.53% of the vote.[1]
