David Polk (born June 3, 1977) is an American professional boxer. He has a record of 10 wins, 7 losses, and 1 draw. Polk was never knocked out in his professional career, though all his wins also came via points decisions.

Professional career[edit]

During his career Polk fought boxers such as Maurice Wheeler, Cerrone Fox, Brian Minto, Timur Ibragimov, Derric Rossy,[1] Demetrice King, Jermell Barnes, and Chazz Witherspoon. He managed to defeat King, Fox and Wheeler, and stopped Jermell Barnes in a draw.

On March 23, 2005, he faced Brian Minto,[2] eventually losing via unanimous points decision. He was defeated via points decision by Timur Ibragimov the next April 22, after a rather boring fight.[3] He suffered a total of 7 losses, but was never knocked out.

His last fight was against Tony Grano, and took place on November 8, 2007 at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville. Polk lost the fight via split decision.[4]
