DayDayUp is a Chinese company which provides shared workspace, community, and services for international and local entrepreneurs, freelancers, startups and small businesses.[1][2] Founded in 2015, it is headquartered in Beijing,[3] with plans to open a U.S. office in San Francisco by early 2017. Additionally, future locations include Israel, Southeast Asia and Europe. DayDayUp’s Beijing space is located in Sanlitun Soho Towers.[4]

DayDayUp aims to create China’s most international co-working community, by not only providing shared office space, but also by helping facilitate international business cooperations and access to a network of global business connections.[5] DayDayUp's members have included tech companies such as Docker, CMune, CometLabs and AppsFlyer.[6][7] On April 28, 2016, DayDayUp partnered with Global Mobile Internet Conference to organize Global Virtual Reality Summit.[8][9]

History and funding[edit]

DayDayUp was co-founded by Bo Yiqun[10][11] and Jerome Scola, both former employees of the mobile internet business cooperation network GWC, where they were respectively Founder and Head of International Business.

Bo Yiqun is a believer that “Internationalization, Connection and Health” are the three key elements of a prospective future for co-working spaces. “I believe running a shared office as a community will be a big market trend,” Bo told All China Tech.[12]

DayDayUp received angel funding of $2 million[13][14] from firms including MFund Capital, GWC, Peakview Capital, Unity Ventures, Qiandai.com, Youmi; as well as individual investors Jeff Liu, Founder and CEO of DMall; Free Wu, Founder of Welight Capital; Herman Zhou, Founder and CEO of Yidao Yongche; He Xiaopeng, UC President of Alibaba Mobile Business Group; and Yao Wenbin, Chairman and General Manager at Ourpalm.[15]
