Dr. Yu GONG
Dr. Gong Yu is the founder & CEO of iQIYI.com, Inc, an online television and movie portal in China (www.iqiyi.com). He started the business in 2010.[1]
In 2009, Gong joined Umessage.com, a telephone hotline service supported by China Mobile, as COO. Previously, Dr. Gong founded www.focus.cn, a Chinese real estate website, in 1999; it was later acquired by Sohu.com. At Sohu, he held positions including vice president, senior vice president, and chief operating officer (COO).[2]
Dr. Gong holds a PhD in automation engineering from Tsinghua University.[3]
