Daymak Inc.

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Daymak Inc. is a Canadian manufacturer, developer of light electric vehicles (LEV). It was started in 2001 by Aldo Baiocchi who now is the Chief Technology Officer. The company is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. However, they import all of their equipment from Chinese and Japanese suppliers and simply put their own name brands on them.

In 2001, Aldo Baiocchi had a simple goal of trying to purchase a kids electric scooter for his daughter, Daniela for her birthday. Finding it incredibly difficult to order electric scooters from the United States due to customs he thought this would be a great marketable product and decided he was going import them himself. The company’s name was a combination of Aldo’s daughter name, and his wife’s name Yeganeh and his other daughter Melissa (D-A-Y-M) and from that Daymak was born.[1]
