Odwa Situma[1] (born 11 May 1998) is a South African rapper, professionally know by her stage name Dee Koala.[2] She was born and raised in Khayelitsha the suburb of Cape Town.[3]

She became popular after releasing her single "Koala", which was part of her her EP titled 18-18 in 2016. The award-winning artist released a music video of Wuzet as her first single for her studio album 4 The Khaltsha which was released in 2019.

Career: Beginning - 2018[edit]

In 2016, She released an EP "18-18" along with its single "Koala" when she was still 18 years old. The talented rapper went up to release "Wuzet?"[4] single on 1st of October 2018 and later released a "Friday Freestyle" on 26th of November 2018.[5]

Career: 2019 - present[edit]

She make her big guest appearance on Yanga Chief's remix song for Utatakho along with Boity Thulo and late Riky Rick which was released in 19th of October 2019.[6] She broughtht out hard ever studio album 4 The Khaltsha in 1st of November 2019 which serve fans 14-tracks on it.[7]

She was featured by Costa Titch on his single called We Deserve Better released October 2020.[8] Spazz is a single that featured Blxckie and K.Keed released in April 2021.[9] Dee Koala was featured by Khayelitsha based female rapper on a song called Epathini released December 2021.[10]
