Duy Nguyen, known professionally as Dewuy, is an French singer and songwriter from Paris, France.
His stage name is from the TV series "Malcolm in the middle" where he uses "Dewey" as reference to pronounce his real name.
Born in Vietnam and raised in Paris, He later moved to Australia where he developed his creativity in visuals and music.
Dewuy's viby vocals carry along lyrics that illustrate the feeling of pain and love, the musician melds R&B with his falsetto vocals, hip-hop in his off-kilter beats, funk in his effervescent basslines, and moody alternative in his reverb-soaked songs, which he writes and records in isolation.
He released his first debut EP "Novocaine" in November 2020.
