Dhanraj Parimal Nathwani (born 5 February 1986) is group president in Reliance Industries Limited.[1][2] He is also involved in sports associations as vice president of Gujarat Cricket Association.[3][4].

Early Life[edit]

Nathwani was born to politician, current Rajya Sabha member[5] and businessman Parimal Nathwani and Varsha Nathwani in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.[6]

Education[edit]

He studied International Business from Regent's Business School London (UK).[7]. After graduation, he was posted in Reliance Industries Limited as Group Senior Vice President.[8]

In addition to serving as group president of Reliance Industries Limited, He is also positioned as vice president of Gujarat Cricket Association(GCA) as vice president in Gujarat.[14][15]He played an important role in building of world's largest cricket stadium situated at Motera - Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.[16] As vice president of GCA, he was part of the core team which organized the Namaste Trump event in February 2020 with then US president Donald Trump and Indian prime minister Narendra Modi at newly built world's largest cricket stadium at Motera in Ahmedabad.[17][18][19] He also actively participated in management of popular domestic Indian cricket tournament IPL 2021 in Ahmedabad as GCA vice president.[20][21]

He is vice chairman of Dwarka Devasthan Samiti which manages the famous Dwarkadhish temple in Dwarka, Gujarat.[22] He is also a member of board of director in Reliance Group Support Services Private Limited.[23] Previously, he has been also elected as President of GSFA(Gujarat State Football Association) in 2017.[24]

Personal Life[edit]

On 17th February 2014, He married Bhoomi which was attended by then chief minister of Gujarat Narendra Modi, Gujarat's then home minister Amit Shah, Businessman Mukesh Ambani, Congress Party leader Late Ahmed Patel in Ahmedabad.[25] He currently lives in Ahmedabad, Gujarat with his family.
