Diamond and Diamond Personal Injury Lawyers is a Personal Injury Law Firm headquartered in Toronto with eleven regional offices in Ontario: Mississauga, Sault Ste. Marie, Barrie, Peterborough, Kitchener, Hamilton, London, Orangeville, Sudbury, Thunder Bay, and Timmins.[1][2] In April 2014, the firm filed a $20.5 million lawsuit on behalf of eight victims of a shooting at York University headed by Jeremy Diamond.[3][4][5] Along with other allegations, the firm alleged the University failed to prioritize the safety of its students.[4] On February 9, 2015, the firm was the recipient of the 2015 Consumer Choice Award for "Personal Injury Lawyers - GTA Wide." The firm provides legal representation to those who claim to have been injured, physically or psychologically. The firm specializes in handling the following claims: car accidents, slip and fall injuries, brain injury, work-related injuries, wrongful death, animal & dog bites and long-term disability. The company services clients across Ontario.
The firm is also the official sponsor of The Toronto Raptors, Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Marlies.[7] In July 2014, their Lawyer Isaac Zisckind called for mandatory helmets for skateboarders in the province of Ontario following the death of a Brantford teen.[8]
