DigitalRoute is an enterprise software company headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. It provides software to enable billing based on usage, such as for subscription business models or telecommunications billing. Founded in 2000[2], the company’s Usage Data Platform[3], also known as MediationZone[4], collects and processes usage data to create information for billing.
Technology[edit]
DigitalRoute’s Usage Data Platform is used by telecommunications service providers for telecommunications mediation (billing mediation[5]) for business support systems and operations support systems[6]. This involves processing usage data, mainly for billing purposes. In other industries, DigitalRoute’s software is used with enterprise software, such as ERP, CRM and CPQ systems, in order to process data for usage-based billing.
In the telecommunications industry, DigitalRoute’s software is known as MediationZone. In SAP solutions[7], it is known as SAP Convergent Mediation by DigitalRoute[8]. DigitalRoute is a Solution Extension (SOLEX) partner to SAP.

As of June 2020, DigitalRoute has 250 employees and over 400 customers[9]. Andreas Zartmann has been CEO of DigitalRoute since 2017[10]. DigitalRoute’s customers operate in industries such as telecommunications[11], utilities[12], high-tech, transport and logistics, healthcare, insurance, postal, finance, gaming and video streaming services.

DigitalRoute is a privately owned company. The investment firm Neqst, which focuses on technology and technology-enabled companies primarily in the Nordic region, owns 89% of DigitalRoute[13]
