History and Early Years[edit]
To keep up the pace with the forever changing dynamics of the Information Technology industry, the government of West Bengal has started an experiment with a new model of development. Under the said model, the government aims to create a ready ecosystem for technology companies so that can translate to minimal capital expenditure, therefore, creating jobs for the state's large pool of graduates. It is key to understand that water, land, road, connectivity and power are not anymore sufficient to attract any investment anymore.[1]
The company first opened its doors for business in 2017 in Regent Park, Kolkata. It got established as a partnership firm between the two founders, namely Soumyasis Nath and Bijoy Mondal.[2] After quitting their 9 to 5 jobs, the duo decided to start something of their own, thus Digital Webber was born. Started with an employee strength of 5, the company slowly started to gain momentum with its work in the fields of website and application development in the Australian digital market. With increasing clientele, the firm shifted its base to Salt Lake, Kolkata, the IT Hub of Eastern India, to accommodate more employees to cater to its increasing clients and partners.[3]

The company is now operating from a base in Salt Lake Sector 5 which is operated by West Bengal Electronics Industry Development Corporation, created by the government to facilitate the growth of Information Technology in the state of West Bengal. As per the company's website[4] the company is presently working with clients from Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Canada, Singapore and The United States of America, as well as working with local clients from India. It has also boasted an impressive range of works on their website.[5] The company is registered with GST under number 19AANFD1957C1ZD.[6]
