Personal life[edit]
Dimpu Baruah was born to Pitambar Baruah and Latika Baruah. He is the only child in the family. Dimpu spent his childhood at his uncle's house. He was shy from childhood. He makes videos in Assamese language in two youtube channels and in hindi language in one youtube channel.[1]
Education[edit]
Dimpu Baruah passed HSLC examination from Debiram Pathshala Higher Secondary School. He passed Higher Secondary Examination in Arts stream from Brahmaputra Valley Star Academy Junior College and graduated in English from Nalbari College.[2] Later he also completed D.El.Ed. Degree.
Career[edit]
Initially, he taught part-time in a school in Nalbari. Currently, YouTube is his profession.[3] Dimpu is popular for his interesting presentations. He tries to present the little things of everyday life, the activities of inspirational people, etc. to the audience. He also visits various places and introduces them to the places and collects various information and presents it to the audience.
Social Work[edit]
He collected 43,000 rupees by campaigning in Youtube for helping flood affected peoples of Assam in 2020 and distributed it among the homeless flood victims. He is also currently working on YouTube to build public opinion on various topics of Assamese culture.[4]
