Diyal
The Diyal Family is based on politicians,[1] landlords in Lahore, Pakistan. They get their 'Diyal' surname based on the name of their originating village called Diyal Village, a village located near Indo-Pak Wahga border, Lahore Pakistan. Also written as 'Dayal' or 'Dial', the village is connected to the Lahore city by the main GT Road, which is a main transport route between Pakistan and India and a major economic factor for Pakistan.[2] The co-ordinates of it are 31°36′02″N 74°32′02″E / 31.600445°N 74.533927°E
Introduction[edit]
The Diyals consist of Rajput Caste. The village falls in the constituency of NA 130 [3] and constituency of PP158 and so the Diyal's are involved in politics from that area consisting of NA 130 in National Assembly of Pakistan and in the provincial assembly of PP 157 and PP158 from the 1990s.[4]

Politics[edit]
The Diyal's have been involved in politics from a long time. Diyal Family has been a part of National assembly of Pakistan[5] from NA 130. and NA 100[MNA List 1] and provincial assembly of Punjab from PP 157.[6]
The Diyal's are currently supporting PTI and left the previous PML (Q) in 2015, declared by the leadership of PTI. Aleem Khan on his official Facebook Page [7]

Aside from their Political involvements the Diyal's are also involved in large scale illegal imports and exports of different goods such as Heroin [12], Arms , Etc. [13] [14]This is also termed as Smuggling and Drug Trafficking.
They also have a political rivalry with the PPP party's representatives, the Ghurkhi's.[15]
