Dmitry Semenikhin is a science-fiction/YA author of several high concept series and child prodigy[1] born 15 December 1996 in Moscow, Russia. Semenikhin wrote the Galaxie Envahie series, concluding his first publishing deal at 11.5 years old with the Editions Persée in France.[2] He is the son of art collectors Vladimir Semenikhin and Ekaterina Semenikhin.

Literary career[edit]

Semenikhin has started his literary career at 11.5 years old with Galaxie Envahie,[3] a science fiction novel, in 2009. He has then expanded the universe of the series with two follow ups in 2011 and 2012 named Galaxie Envahie 2[4] and Galaxie Envahie 3 respectively.[5] The series has been published by Editions Persée, part of the Hachette Group, as well.[6]

Semenikhin has then written Le Bien de l'Humanite in 2012, a social satire on an elitist society, which was published with Persée again. Following this, Semenikhin has written The Ghost and the Storyteller which was published directly in the USA with LOF publishing.[7] It has then followed to be in the Amazon top 100 for a month with its ebook version.[8]

Semenikhin graduated from the Lycée Albert 1er in 2014, getting a national award in the Geophysics Olympics and National resistance History competition.[9]
