Oliver Kennett “Dock” Fogleman (March 13, 1935 – October 14, 2017) is a former professional baseball player. He started playing baseball at Randleman High School in Randleman, North Carolina. After graduating high school, he played in Minor League Baseball as a shortstop from 1955 to 1958,[1] including seasons with the Moultrie Reds, Baton Rouge Rebels, Alexandria Aces[2] and Palatka Redlegs under Johnny Vander Meer. In addition, he played baseball for the Worthville Mill Team (Worthville Mill was a mill in Randolph County, North Carolina), leading the team to win the 1957 Deep River League championship.[3] In 1960, he was drafted into the US Army and played baseball at Fort McPherson.[4][5]
In 2013, Fogleman was inducted into the Randleman High School Hall of Fame.[6] The plaque states that he was an "Outstanding 3 Sport Athlete" (having lettered in baseball, basketball, and football[6]), and that he was "All Conference in Baseball". The plaque also states he played baseball and basketball for the US Army and was drafted into the Cincinnati Reds farm system.
