Dokibird, formerly Selen Tatsuki, is a Canadian VTuber formerly part of NIJISANJI EN until her termination in 2024.[1]
Career
Dokibird
She started her VTuber career via DokiBird. She began streaming on Twitch in 2016. She later transitioned to YouTube in 2020.[2]
Selen Tatsuki
She debuted as Selen Tatsuki in July 2021.[1]
On 5 February, NIJISANJI EN announced the termination of Selen Tatsuki’s contract, effective immediately, after she had been inactive online for over a month, citing breaches of contract, violations of internal rules, misleading statements on social media, and actions causing payment delays for commissions to fan creators.[1] The company received backlash from the VTuber community afterwards.[3] Additionally, the notice accused Selen of posting a song cover without proper authorization, leading to management unpublishing the video until authorizations were confirmed.[4]
She later stated that her hospitalization was due to a suicide attempt caused by poor management and a toxic environment.[4]
She stated that she made zero profit from Selen Tatsuki.[5]

She returned to her old persona Dokibird, after her termination from Selen Tatsuki. [6]
