Don Mathias Mumassabba (born April 27, 1986) is a Kenyan-born Canadian entrepreneur, author, and public speaker. Prior to establishing Eminent Media Inc., a PR marketing and communication consulting firm, and EMI Influencers Inc, a social media-focused digital agency, he worked with Microsoft, Bell, 7-Eleven, Canadian Tire, and MODC.[1]
Biography
Don was born in Nairobi, Kenya on June 27, 1986. He later moved to Canada with his family and grew up in Toronto where he married Latifat Opaluwa Mumassabba and together they have a son, Michael Wamache Mumassabba.
He graduated with a diploma in business administration from the Kenya Methodist University and is pursuing his bachelor's in communication and media studies from the University of Calgary.[2] He developed an AI-based tool, the EMI Influencers Scheduling Tool, designed to manage and schedule content for influencers similar to ChatGPT.
He also served as a judge at the Canadian Marketing Association, where he played a central role in brand management, in addition to working with YES Youth and Women Can Foundation, a charitable foundation focused on youth and women's empowerment.[1]
As an author, he wrote four books such as The CEO’s Branding Edge: Elevate Your Leadership Brand to Drive Business Success, Mastering Marketing Strategy: A Comprehensive Guide to Building a Winning Marketing Plan, Redefining Social Media Marketing with Chat GPT: A Cutting-Edge Approach, and Digital Marketing: The Future of Advertising.[3]
