Donato Curci (born September 12, 1977) is a former Italian soccer player. He is currently coaching with New York Red Bulls as coach of the Youth Development Academy. He has master's degree in physical education, UEFA B and Juventus University soccer coach licenses.
Curci signed in August 1992 with Foggia Calcio Serie A, where he played with the U-15 Academy team. In 1994 he played with Campobasso Calcio Serie D, where the team missed the promotion to Serie C after the play-off. In 1995 he signed with Frenter Larino Serie D. In his career Curci played with different teams such as U.S. Lucera Calcio, U.S. Audace Cerignola, U.S. San Salvo, and U.S. Sab. Riccia where he scored 16 goals in 21 games. He also played with the Regional Selection of Molise in the National Tournament in San Salvo.
Curci joined as Assistant Coach with Foggia Calcio Serie C with the U-15 Academy team, which was coached by Pietro Maiellaro ex-Italian professional soccer player. Curci had his first experience as Assistant Coach with adult players in 2004 with San Giorgio Apricena Calcio, which was coached by Ferdinando De Matthaeis, ex-New York Cosmos player. In 2006 he worked as Assistant Coach with US Lucera Calcio. In 2014 Curci moved to Miami where he worked as Assistant Coach and Strength and Conditioning Specialist with Miami United FC,  head coached was Ferdinando De Matthaeis. With Miami United FC   Curci posted a record 7-3-0 and won the NPSL Sunshine Conference 2014  , and played the NPSL Southern Regional Finals against Chattanooga FC. After the NPSL post season, Miami United FC competed in an international friendly with Italian clubs Catania Calcio, Brescia Calcio and Novara Calcio, where Miami United FC won two of the three games. After the international friendly, Curci joined Foggia Calcio Lega Pro as Assistant Coach and worked with Roberto De Zerbi , ex-Italian soccer player and current manager of U.S. Sassuolo Calcio Serie A. While with Foggia Calcio, the team narrowly missed the play-off for promotion to Serie B. In 2016 Curci joined TSF Academy in New Jersey, directed by Luis Carlos Mendoza an ex-American soccer player and ex-Venezuela national team player. With TSF Academy Curci worked as coach of the Youth Development Academy. In 2017 Curci joined Morris Elite Soccer Club  owned by Vincenzo Bernardo, an ex-American professional soccer player, where he worked as coach of Travel Teams.
