DoorLoop is an American company offering property management software.[1] The company is co-founded by Ori Tamuz, David Bitton, Adam Mait, Itay Gardi, and Matthew Cave and is headquartered in Miami, Florida. It is widely recognized as an all-in-one property management software, supporting property management on the go.[2]

The software provides features such as lease tracking, accounting, and reporting; rent and fee collection; and maintenance request management, which assist property owners, landlords, and companies in managing the financial and operational risks associated with rental properties.[3]

The software is available for download on both Android and iOS devices. The application is user-friendly and intuitive. The company has also established DoorLoop University, offering comprehensive courses to help people learn and become familiar with the software.[4]

History

DoorLoop was founded in 2019 by co-founders Ori Tamuz,[5] David Bitton, Adam Mait, Itay Gardi, and Matthew Cave. The company is headquartered in Miami, Florida, with an additional office in Tel Aviv, Israel. It provides all-in-one property management software with a variety of features designed to help property owners, managers, and property management companies handle different aspects of rental properties.[6]

In July 2023, DoorLoop released Looper AI. Looper AI is an AI-powered chatbot that is adept at answering real estate and property management questions.[7][8]

In May 2024, the company launched DoorLoop CashPayments. Powered by Western Union Bank, CashPayments automates and tracks rent collection for property managers and owners.[9]

In June 2024, DoorLoop released a communications suite, allowing various stakeholders such as managers, owners, tenants, and vendors to engage in conversations through real-time, two-way SMS messaging.[10] The suite includes features such as bulk messaging, searchable chats, and task creation, which improve responsiveness and conversation organization.[11][12][13]

Software features

DoorLoop provides property management tools that automate rent collection through multiple payment methods, including credit and debit cards, ACH transfers, cash, and checks, while tracking payments to reduce time spent on collections. The software also includes accounting features for creating reports, managing finances, and syncing with banks and QuickBooks. Maintenance management is centralized, allowing users to handle requests, manage work orders, pay vendors, and complete forms within the platform.

DoorLoop offers property marketing capabilities, allowing listings on popular platforms like Zillow and Trulia, along with tenant screening tools for background checks and electronic rental applications. It also provides secure document storage and management of property information, using strong encryption and strict security protocols to ensure data protection.

Funding

DoorLoop has secured a total of $30 million in funding. In September 2021, the company raised $10 million in seed funding, backed by its founders and private investors.[14] A year later, in September 2022, DoorLoop completed a $20 million Series A funding round, led by Alpine Software Group (ASG).[15][16]
