Doug Hirschhorn (2009)

Dr. Doug Hirschhorn (born 1972, in Miami, Florida) is an American Peak Performance Coach for Portfolio Managers at Hedge Funds. He is a frequent contributor to CNBC and an author.

Biography[edit]

Doug Hirschhorn received his B.A. from Colgate University in 1994, and went on to earn an M.S. in Exercise Science in 2000 from Southern Connecticut State University.[1] In 2005, he received a Ph.D. in Psychology (with an emphasis in sport psychology) from Capella University. He is currently the chief executive officer of Edge Consulting LLC, a firm specializing in Peak Performance Coaching for Portfolio Managers and Principals of Elite Hedge Funds.

Dr. Doug Hirschhorn is the author of three books, "Trading Psychology Playbook" (2013), 8 Ways to Great: Peak Performance on the Job and In Your Life (2010) and The Trading Athlete: Winning the Mental Game of Online Trading (2001).
