In January 2018, he gave successive performances at DLF Mall of India and at the Gargi College’s Golden Jubilee Ceremony, New Delhi. Further, Dr Bathla provided a music therapy session at Ansal Esencia, Gurugram in July. He also directed the music for Dastaan-e-Bhagwaan, Shri Ram Prasad Ji which was released the same month.
