Dr. Gopal Raman Sharma
Dr. Gopal Raman Sharma is a renowned Nepali neurosurgeon and the president of the Nepalese Society of Neurosurgeon:[1]. He is the Head of Department of Neurosciences, Nepal Mediciti, Lalitpur[2].
Education[edit]
Dr. Sharma graduated in medicine and surgery from Institute of Medicine (IOM), Kathmandu, Nepal in 1990. Upon completion of the neurosurgical residency program he was awarded a Master Degree (MS) in Neurosurgery by Karachi University, Pakistan in 2000. He completed a fellowship in neurovascular surgery from Kurume University, Japan in 2010. In 2013, he completed Neurovascular training at Department of Neurosurgery, Helsinki University, Finland.[3]
