Dr. Rinky Kapoor is an Indian dermatologist, cosmetic dermatologist & skin laser specialist, based in Mumbai, India. She cofounded The Esthetic Clinics, a chain of specialty centers for aesthetic medicine, dermatology, facial plastic surgery, reconstructive surgery and cosmetic surgery in 2009
An MBBS from Lokamanya Tilak Hospital & Medical College, has done International Dermatology Fellowship at the National Skin Centre Singapore.
Dr. Kapoor has been involved in research, around 'growth factors of hair regeneration' with Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). Her most notable work involves the development of a nano-molecule QR 678 that she developed along with Dr. Debraj Shome, that is shown to help arrest stubborn cases of hair fall and restore hair[7]. This hair composition is in the final stages of receiving a patent, in the USA and India.
Dr. Rinky Kapoor was awarded as the most Valuable and Admired Cosmetic Dermatologist in India by the Pharma Leaders Super Brands Awards 2015, on the 30th of December, 2015. She was also named the Best Dermatologist in India[9] on 9 December 2015 at the Healthcare Excellence Summit Awards, by Shri Yesso Prasad Naik, Honourable Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare (Government of India) & Dr. C P Thakur, MP & Former Cabinet Minister, Union Government of India
Besides these, Dr. Kapoor was nominated as one of the top five cosmetic dermatologists in India for the award as India’s Most Admired Beauty Expert (Medical Profession), at the 4th Annual India Leadership Conclave and Indian Affairs Business Leadership Awards in 2013.
