Dr. Squatch is an American personal care brand that focuses on products marketed specifically towards men.[1] The company was founded in 2013 in San Diego, and is now based in Los Angeles.[1] It’s products are marketed as being “all natural”.
As of 2021, the company's annual revenue is $100 million per year.[2]
Criticism
In February 2021, Dr. Squatch was criticised for its Super Bowl 2021 advert which featured “all white men” engaging in “manly things that men do”. The commercial featured a man opening a pickle jar and another having their hair braided by their daughter.[3] Yardbarker criticised the juvenile humour, describing it as “trying way too hard.”[4]
