DroidMsg
DroidMsg is a free Android app and also an international online dating service and social networking site since 2012. The app and site support instant messages and emails. Currently, the app can be downloaded from Google Play and other app stores like Amazon, Appbrain, Getjar, Slideme, and AndroidPit.
The app uses push notifications and also a socket server, which allows users to select which method to receive text messages. All users may communicate with others via private email or an instant messaging chat function.
History
In March 2013, the app for DroidMsg appeared on TheAppMagazine site.[1]
Matching algorithm
DroidMsg creates the best match based on a user's age, interests, and the headline text of a user's profile. Users can use the new matching service "Meet Me" and will answer questions about members.
