Durgesh Kaushik is a blogger,[2][3] speaker[4] and angel investor[5] based in India. Currently, he's the Co-Founder and CEO of Wishfie, a social video start-up.[6][7] He is a former CMO at Edureka.[8] He previously worked at Facebook in the SMB marketing team in Dublin and Singapore, looking after EMEA[9] and APAC[10] markets respectively. He holds an MBA degree from University of California, Irvine, and a B.E. from NSIT, Delhi University. He is followed by over 100,000 people on Facebook [11] and 10,000 followers on LinkedIn.[12]

After completing his engineering in Information Technology from NSIT, Delhi University,[13] Kaushik joined Dell Services as a software engineer.[12] Thereafter, he went to USA to complete his MBA at University of California, Irvine.[14] During his MBA, he worked on social networking research projects and was a teaching assistant for organizational behavior and information systems courses. At UC Irvine, he also developed a social network (now defunct) called mayanet.org,[15] which was aimed at addressing users' privacy concerns through user generated privacy policy. After his MBA, Kaushik was appointed as the marketing head at InfoStretch Corporation, a Silicon Valley-based start-up. He then joined SMB Marketing team at Facebook in Dublin, looking after EMEA market. He was then selected for Jio Young Leadership Program by Reliance Industries.[9] After a short stint at Jio, Kaushik joined SMB Marketing team at Facebook in Singapore, looking after the APAC market. He was then appointed as the Chief Marketing Officer by Edureka.[16][16] Currently, Kaushik is a start-up advisor,[17][18][5][19] industry speaker[20][21][22][23][24] and blogger. He is an author at DigitalMarket.Asia,[2][25] Deccan Chronicle,[26] Digital Doughnut[27] and imwire.net.[2]
