Dustin Lemick is an American entrepreneur and the founder and CEO of BriteCo, an insurtech company specializing in jewelry and watch insurance.[1]
Career and education
Lemick served as the president of Cy Fredrics Jewelers, a company established by his grandfather in 1958, before venturing into his own business, BriteCo.[2]
Lemick founded BriteCo in 2017, the company provides an appraisal system for jewelers and an insurance product for consumers.[3][4] In 2019, BriteCo raised a seed round of $2 million,[5] and the company secured $9 million in Series A funding in 2022.[6][7]
He earned a degree in economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and obtained a gemological degree from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).[8]
