Dynamic Leap Technology Inc is a privately held software development and services company based in Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada, founded by Andrei Iancu in 2008. Dynamic Leap focuses on developing mobile apps (iOS, Android) and for wearable technology such as the Apple Watch. The company provides business-to-government, business-to-business, and direct to customer software development services. [2]

History[edit]

Dynamic Leap Technology Inc was founded to provide software development services and consultancy to the North American market. Their clients include FreshGrade, Mogo, ShareSmart, Shotlister, RCCbc, and Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Although Dynamic Leap has developed applications for Mac OS X and Windows operating systems, their primary focus is mobile development [3] The founder, Andrei Iancu, has maintained his role as CEO since the company's inception.

Shot Lister, an app developed by Dynamic Leap has received positive reviews from Slashfilm.[4] Shot Lister also has a software training course on Lynda.com .[5]

In 2016, an app designed and developed by Dynamic Leap called ShareSmart was named as one of the Top 5 Healthcare Apps by Engadget.

[8]

Apps Built by Dynamic Leap[edit]

ShareSmart[9][edit]

Healthcare professionals are routinely required to take photos of their patients to seek out advice from other doctors or colleagues regarding specific patient cases they are seeing in the clinic. Until ShareSmart there was no formalized or secure way to do this. Dynamic Leap helped bring the concept of secure patient photo sharing to life while also creating an internal social network for the healthcare professionals to easily reach out to. Engadget named this app one of the top 5 health care apps of 2016.

FreshGrade[10][edit]

FreshGrade is an educational technology company founded by serial entrepreneur Lane Merrifield.  The company was founded to tackle the challenges teachers and districts were facing in trying to engage their students' parents in a meaningful way. Despite the advances in technology, the issue of impactful parent engagement remained unsolved. Working alongside teachers, FreshGrade came to life and Dynamic Leap was engaged to develop their Android app for teachers.

When the next generation of Apple TV was introduced, Guitar Tricks approached Dynamic Leap to bring their award-winning guitar teaching platforms right into the living room of its students by creating one of the first apps ever to be available on tvOS (Apple TV).

Shot Lister[12][edit]

Shot Lister enables directors and assistant directors to digitally organize sets, shots, scenes, actors, required equipment and other relevant material. It allows this information to be pushed to other users in a movie crew. This app is available on iOS, Android, Apple Watch and is in development for Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows.

CinemaFrame tvOS app[13][edit]

Dynamic Leap completed a project for CinemaFrame that put a tvOS app in the hands of their 1,000+ dealers for in-store sales support and customer engagement.  CinemaFrame is a very clever all-in-one entertainment system that hides inside the wall behind a flat-panel TV and a fabric-covered frame.  CinemaFrame is unlike anything else on the market so traditional brochures and websites were ineffective tools for resellers to effectively demonstrate the available customizations, quality, and incredible design of this high-end product.  Essentially a digital brochure, the tvOS app Dynamic Leap developed for CinemaFrame enables sales reps to easily support their customer conversation with stunning visuals, amazing dolby quality sound, and easy to digest product specs.
