Easistore Self Storage Ltd is a self-storage company based in the South East of England and currently operates from four facilities across Kent and Surrey. Easistore founder Paul Glenister designed and built the first purpose built self storage facility in the UK in 1995.[1]

History[edit]

Easistore was founded by Paul Glenister in 1989, with the company’s first purpose-built self storage facility opening in Edenbridge in 1995. Today, Easistore owns self storage facilities in Crawley, Edenbridge, Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells.[2] The Maidstone store was opened in 2014 by Mayor of Maidstone Cllr Clive English and Helen Grant MP, Conservative Member of Parliament for Maidstone and the Weald.[3][4]

Awards & accolades[edit]

In October 2015, Easistore Maidstone was awarded Best Facility (UK Major Operators) at the Federation Self Storage Association (FEDESSA) and the Self Storage Association United Kingdom (SSA UK) awards.[5]

In 2013, Easistore was awarded Outstanding Business Initiative at the FEDESSA and SSA UK Awards.[6]

In 2008, Easistore won three best ‘away from home’ toilets awards at the National 5 Star Grading Loo of the Year Awards.[7]
